what works for me is to put cornstarch (it absorbs the grease) on the spot and let it sit for a day. rub a little detergent on the spot after you've shaken off the powder, then wash as usual. it also works if you don't notice the spot until after it's been washed.

put Dawn ( the liquid dish washing soap on the spots, rub it in a bit then wash....most of the time the grease comes right out

soak the part with the grease in coca cola

Soak the spot or spots with peroxide and then put detergent directy on the spots. That should do it.
