Never! I am an American and still proud of it like most Americans are. We citizens can not be held responsible for what we have no con troll over.
Example. If you are lied to and make a decision because of that lie. Not your fault.
To make a long story short. We, as citizens have nothing to be ashamed of.
It is a shame what the love of the all mighty dollar has done to our corporate and political leaders, but we can't be held responsible for their irresponsible actions.

Should people who live in America & call themselves "Americans" be kicked out?
NO! You called it America, I called it America. It IS America. Yes, our country has the honor of having the name of the continent in the name of the country. That would be a lot of people to kick out.
Why do people hate it when we call ourselves "Americans"?
Our country doesn't have a name, in the sense that France or Germany does. Our country is made up of several "states", which are "united" under one federal government, in the continent of "America". This is where our name came from. We could call ourselves "United Statesmen", but that takes too long to say, and I happen to like calling myself an "American"

Well, you might not shed a tear, but how can a citizen of a country be deported just for their personal feelings? Should feeling a certain way be illegal? Wouldn't that go against the fundamental principles of traditional American political ideology?

I don't think that they should be kicked out, but I do think that there is a problem with a lot of immigrants who don't like being called an American. They are after all, American. But hey...you can't change their way of thinking.

I dont understand why everyone is polish-american, italian-american, african american.
What is wrong with being just american. It is a country, it is a people. We are the only country whose people identify themselves in such a manner regarding ethnicity.
Just be an american and be proud.

No, it comes back to that whole freedom of speech thing. If people don't want to be called American - don't call them American. Me - I'm proud of it, I even have a Captain America poster on my wall.
Ultimately, it's there right to express themselves. Destroying that right would be un-American.

Even though I disagree with them also, that's part of being an American thats great. Your right to have a dissenting opinion. Freedom of speech can be annoying when we don't agree, but it is necessary to prevent oppression.
