i think you should try to get her to her old self and hang out with her more so if she doesn't know shes being clingy you can help her without her noticing and if that does not work you should try (this might sound bad) guilt, to get her to hang with you

if you really care about her you will find a way to keep her happy

you need to let her know that its ok to want to spend time with him but not all the time. He's backing away from her because he tired of her not giving him space to do other things he normal likes to do. She needs to stop being clingy to him cause she is going to start to forget about her friends which is a bad thing.

I have a friend just like that.
Its hard to comfort someone when it's kind of their fault that this thing is happening to them.

All you can do is just be there when things take a turn for the worse.
But tell her why you think this guy is backing away from her. She needs to know so she can stop cuz she obviously cares for him.

Be strong, your friend needs you.

Get her to post her questions here, the honest answers she wont be able to deny ,and it gets you off the hook for being a byotch for telling her so. Just brace her for whats to come and be there for her to help her through it. Get her to include in her question "how can i fix it"

I would sit down and talk to her and tell her what her problem is with him and tell her that he needs space just like her. plan to do something nice with her. keep her busy. maybe if she busy she wont cling to him that much.

There's nothing you can do about. If she need somebody to talk to, show to her that your always there to listen.
