We have always been good followers and avoid taking any risks. We always want to learn at the expense of others. Some one implemented our education, governance, constitution, law and order and happily we have accepted it. Right. This can go on and on. Now this has become a national movement and you can't stand out alone and cry for a change. Just join with the rest and follow it like a religion.

Well the system is definitely worst and becoming more worse, but partly we are responsible for it too! We are quite credulous, dont check things before ,lowsy ourselves and too willing to offer bribe to anyone! Its become a rule to pay someone and get our work done.If we ask ourselves frankly the same question; we will know we are also silent feeders to this system! The best policy is to create and awareness amongst ourselves ,fight against corruption by denying to pay bribe.Lets build our nation a corruptionless one.

We alk very tall and boas about our culture ; but really we lack a good culure. If we had any self-respect and a food culture , we would not have had to be ruled by foreingners . We have a beger's mentality . This you can judge by the charcter of our ministers , politicians and public and govenment servants. For the sake of money he majority of us ae prepared to do anything . We do not hesitate to seel our country to ou enemies , for the sake of money . We ae avaritious and would like to makle lot of money by hook or crook. The politicinas do not consider tha the people deserve the best service by the most efficient and best men in public service . They on the othere hand want onoy inefficne tand corrupt men in public sevice and therefore their only criterion for appoinment to govenemtn service is caste and not ability , efficnecy , and honesty . By doling out services , they wan to strengthen thier vote bank and see tha the people who make applications to the Governemtn for anything should approach them at any cost . Tha is paossiole if only you have inefficien staff . When the app;icants approach the mimnisters , they can direst the oficers to do wha eve thaey want if hey ae satisfied rith whatever they expect from the app;icants . if you have any efficient and honest staff , the applicants will have their requests sealt with and isposed of withou their having to approcah the Ministers . Thei is wha is happenning in the government day in and day out .
Thre is one interseting thing to be noted her . The politicians are able to secure admission to thier candidats in the Engeneering and medical colleges easily if the selection is based on the marks of he school final / higher secondary examination . Because , since the valuation is dome by the Governemtn school teachers under the control of the Educaion depeartment , he politicins are able to manipulate he marks of he candiadates through the concerned minister who can direct his subordinates in the educatuion departmnent to award as much marks as they deem necessary to ensure admission to the candifsates , So they are sell the marks at the valuation levl itself . This is not poccible if he entrance examinaion is in place as the answers are computeroized . Now it is a gold mine for the politicians as the admission is based on the higher secondary examination which is very easy for the minister / the heads oif departments to manipulate, the way they want . It is the only reason that the politicins have been fighting tooth and nail to do away with the entrance examination and not becuse he viilage students who study the same subjects are fools . it it the people who are fooled by the politicians. So in this courtry corruption is ampant only because the politicians are corrupt and it is easy for criminals to come to power on he strength of cast and money . They even fresort to murder if they think tha somebody is inconvenient for them. The party bosses also want only ruffians and hard core criminals as their party men . So if we should eleminate corruption we must eleominate all political parties . The recent happennings in he Lok sabha and the Rajya sabha should reveal the charcter of the people we elect to public offices . Every political party accuses the other of the same thing which it does itself when in power . We do not have honest leaders with any principles. As is the king , so are the people .We can not be any better . we shall be what we are . you can not make a golden doll with bullshit !.In every walk of life it is rowdyism that is glorified now-a-days .No human being is condered respectable as you can see the party men being named as tiger , chetah, bull , commander , Thusnderbolt , sword , gun , cannon etc and no leader is named after anything good , soft , learned , wise , humane and good mannered We will have moe rapid dogs in public life in the years to come as hat is the trend set by the presentday politicians who are the bane of our society.

I beg to disagree, Ricky. There are lots of government employees who are dedicated and hard workers. I am certain, because I happen to know some of them.
