Early humans evolved on an arid plain in Africa. Not being much water around, there wasn't much call for gills.
Wings only work for animals with relatively small bodies. The larger the body, the more energy it takes to get it to fly, and the larger the wings have to be. Go google "gossamer condor" or "gossamer albatross" to see how big the wings have to be for a man-powered aircraft. One of those was man-powered, I think.
Retractable claws are more a feature of carnivorous predators - big cats, especially. At the time that we would have been evolving them, proto-humans were more prey than predator. We had to learn to get out of the way rather than hunt down something else.

That's a pretty subjective point of view. Remember evolution is about what gives a creature advantage in its environment in any given time - that environment is constantly changing so don't assume its always been like this.
Short answer: gills are close to useless in a warm blooded animal, and claws don't come close to the utility of finger/thumb.

We are spiritual beings. We are top of evolution, we supposed to protect the environment and other beings (whether fellow humans, animal, creatures, etc). Definitely not harm them. This is the sole reason we have no claws or horn so we don't need attack others for food, defense, etc. We have the most sophisticated mind, to be used to develop oneself at higher level and not towards the lower level. Actions need to be high and spiritual, to love towards other fellow men, environment and to oneself.
Evidence - just look at meat eating animals they have real canine teeth to tear flesh, claws, aggression and the calm vegetarian animals don't. We are more like vegetarian animals in many ways.

Have you ever seen a cat type? Each "good" thing has a price, be it weight (horns), specialization of limbs (wings), loss of digital flexibility (claws). Humans, by specializing their upper limbs for throwing and their hands for toolmaking, went down a different path.

Try growing your finger & toe nails - that's the closest you'll get to claws.
