is there an economical car rental company in Quezon City that I can contact? I will be in Phili after Christmas and I need a vehicle for about 5 days which would include maybe a trip to Clark in Pampanga. I will also be attending a friend's wedding. Can you please help? Thanks.

If you are interested I might be able to arrange a car and driver for the five days. I actually own a car in the Phils and employ my brother in law as a driver. You would have to work out a price between yourselves but I am sure that it would be much cheaper than what is available from some agents. I suggest that you ring around and get some prices first that way you would know if you are getting a good deal.
You would definately be better off getting a driver as "the road rules" are basically "every man for himself".

Go to EZ trip.com. Just a reminder, traffic lights in the Philippines has different meanings. Vehicles are one inch away from each other specially in Quezon City. Just be careful. Also try drive away holidays. Some streets dont have white and yellow lanes. SOme roads have deep pot holes.

Oh, since you have a friend here, better seek the help of your friend. Because it's not nice to rent a car. Because of the heavy traffic and I am sure, you are not too familiar with the traffic rules and regulations here. Aside from being boring, you might waste your time. Just discuss with your friend the possibility of helping you out regarding this matter.
Hope you will enjoy your Christmas vacation here.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!!

It's generally easier to rent a car and driver from a friend than it is to rent one and try to deal with the Manila roads. Your life is at risk, and so is your peace of mind. HE HE.
One contact in the area can surely find a reliable friend who is willing to take care of your driving needs.
