Lord yes... or falling off something high and you wake up and almost have a heart attack!!

Yes, but I can add to that. I used to have this nightmare nearly every night: I'm running from ...whatever it is that's chasing me that time....and I try and try and can't run...then all of a sudden, I start lifting off of the ground and floating on my back in the air....towards the danger.....it's great fun:(

I have tried waking myself up and it worked sometimes. Just keep telling yourself it is only a dream and try to shout as loud as possible.

Yes, I hate them.
Acutally it has happened to me in real life...
my Dad aimed a loaded pistol at me, when he thought I was a burglar in the house....talk about "can't move"!!
