There could be several reasons why you have not received the child support yet.
In my state IF a child received any state aid like medicaid, food stamps or such, then before the mother gets any money then the child support will go to pay back the services.
You need to contact the child and social services agency to find out what is going on. They may not have your address.
It could be many things including he may be not telling the truth.
Good luck

States have Child Support Enforcement Agencies, however, you DO NOT need to have a case open to receive your child support payments if he is making them; child support also goes through the Clerk of COurt where your child support order is entered. The role of CSE agencies is to ENFORCE those orders and making every effort possible to see that the non-custodial parent is making payments.
He may be lying to you about the payment; I'd suggest contacting the Clerk of Court in your district as they will have a record of whether he made the payment. Also, go ahead and open a case with your CSE office, as you will be assigned a caseworker who will ensure that these confusions don't arise in the future - because that's our job.

who's he paying it to? yes sign up with your state child support agency, that way they do all the paper work and take him to court when he doesn't pay! just never let the agency lag behind, stay on them or you get lost in the shuffle since there are so many dead-beat parents, (fathers and mothers)! good luck!!

i agree with a.c. girl but make sure your case worker does work for you, most are really good, but you get some who do nothing. big problem is gov. ties their hands on what they are allowed to do!! i had to take my case to the newspaper and radio before i could get child support to get off their duffs after 7 years and finally do something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and still much didn't happen, but it did get them to start on alot of other cases and informed public the lack of help with child support, it made a small difference!!!!
