They were jumped by ten youths. The wife was punched in the face and the husband beaten to the ground and suffered internal bleeding.
Chavs are cowardly and evil, preying on innocent people in a completely unprovoked attack.
I think the local rugby team should go out and put them back in their place.........
Any ideas on how to stop these things happening?

Chavs: Little scum bags in Britain who live to a dress code and law of there own. They are so rife throughout Britain there has been a new Law called ASBO (Anti social behaviour Order) which was introduced to stop them intimidating people and causing trouble.....it has little effect they compete for the most ASBO offences.

Like you said the local rugby team needs to go out and put these guys in their place. They are quite cowardly to jump a couple as a gang. You go after them one by one and they are cowards and will run.

Just to explain to sudonym x, I'm assuming that you are American, so Chavs are equivalent to what you might call rednecks or trailer trash.

Today's society needs fear... fear for there actions. Yet a part of me thinks that we are responsible for elements, how many of us, turn our heads to society's ills. You could stop it happening, with brutality, but that would be a different society to the one that we live in today.

i think there should be a socail club where there is cider, and 14yr old slags/cunts and then say its like a rave and then lock them in and then set it on fire...
