I feel the same. "Is It Any Wonder" got my attention, too & their music has been good ever since. Maybe new management, new songwriter, new direction in their music.

Not a bad song - it probably got your attention because it featured guitars, which is contrary to most of Keane's other music. In my opinion, there are better songs on the album - but those songs are less-guitar based (Frog Prince, Crystal Ball).

I think becase despite of thei famous 'no guitars' set up, this sounds a lot more like distorted guitars. The track to me sounds like Achtung Baby era U2 wioth all the distortiion the Edge used to use. So I'd guess the move from slower ballad to rockier song is what made you take notice. It is a great track!

I hated Keane and I still do. Proper boring mosing. Also, the lead singer has adnormally long legs and short body - seriously!!

oh i know exactly what you mean,i did like their previous songs but for me that one stood out and really made me notice them.love it!
