Excessive exercise, poor nutrition, vitamin deficiency, hormonal imbalance, early onset menopause. These are just a few. There are hundreds of reasons. You should go to the doctor for a complete work up that includes lab work.

A disease in the reproductive organs can stop the flow. Stress can stop it in some women. Excessive weight loss can also stop it. It should be investigated.

stress, hormonal deficiencies, certain cancers, obesity, underweight, certain illnesses. there are many causes. i have a friend who has a hormonal deficiency and has to take a certain hormone to make her ovulate (she could just take the pill but she's trying to get pregnant)
