Ignore your mind .. just listen to your heart .. whether it tells u to go with Scott or stay with you family or friends... Just trust in your heart and lose your head

If it's what you want to do then it's hard but somehow you have to let go.

I'm from Cornwall. I moved to Hastings on my own cos i had friends here. I met my partner here and have a fab job now, something i might never have thought of doing when i was in Cornwall. So no regrets.

I've been here 3 years and yes i miss home like crazy sometimes but i visit quite a lot and it feels like the best of both worlds, it's like i have a holiday home in cornwall and i don't have to pay for it!

My true friends are still my friends and come visit regularly, they love it in the summer for our carnival week! And your family will be proud of the person you're becoming. Making big decisions like this is the first step to becoming a fully fledged adult!

I don't regret my decision as i will one day return, we always do!

BUT i will stress how important an education is, and i know i sound like an old woman now but it's true. I wanted to move before i did but waited until i'd left Truro college before actually taking the plunge. An education goes a long way in this world Hun.

Also i don't know how well you know this guy and i'm not saying yes go for it im just saying that don't think that leaving Cornwall is the end of the world. It's always there with you and is a part of you and will always welcome you when you return.

If it's meant to be it's meant to be. Wait till you've finished college then decide.

Good luck!

Don't go... Cornwall is a lovely place and you seem to have a whole load going for you there... Nottingham is a craphole and the only thing for you there is your mate. What are you going to do? sit around all day waiting for him to get home? You can always go visit him there anyway. Finish college then decide, you'll think a lot clearer after giving it some time... Also you'll be qualified in something so you can get a good job wherever you are.

You love him to bits, not to death. Family is always going to be there for you, they are your family. Friends may come and go, but good close friends are hard to find. Home is where they catch you when you fall. If you feel like you can't leave Cornwall, then don't. Also, your friend Scott would understand this if he knows you at all. Just remember, home is where the heart is.

Don't go, you're too young. Stay where you have friends and family for a support system. What happens if you leave everyone/everything behind and in a couple of months, it doesn't work out with him? Where are you then? If it's meant to be with Scott, it will be.

let him go...if he wants to leave then just let him...you could always follow him when you finish college....study first then decide what you want to do...or even ask him to wait until you have finished your course...than make plans...don't leave Cornwall......it's beautiful, i have been there many times, even considered moving there at one point...Nottingham will make you unhappy...it is not the place for you hun, stay right where you are...if this lad loves you he will hang on till you have finished what your doing there...if he cannot wait then it proves that there's no love there...stay right where you are...your waaaay too young to be even thinking about such a dramatic change...live first doll....these answers are good answers, take our advice and stay

Cornwall = beautiful, nottingham = chavsville and the no 1 crime ridden place in the whole UK! but if you love him you'd live in a cave i suppose! ask him to move to you!

My advice as a guy is No, Nope, Not a Chance. Anyone who wants you to walk away from your life plans to control you entirely. Like severe mental and possibly physical abuse. First come isolation which you already fear. Go with that fear as you know in your heart that there is something wrong with this picture.
