atm machines hardly have a lame guard sitting there. and i dont think it shud be too difficult to break the atm machine. then y no robberies in atms!!

because there are cameras on & in the atm mashines so can be caught very early.
I dont no about ur place but here in our place people tried pullinh the atm mashine with a truck but got caught.

I'm not sure where you live, but there have been several robberies from atms in the surrounding towns where I live. There was one gang who even went so far as to crash into the wall to break the atm and get the loot, they managed to do it to 3 others on the same night and got away with a lot of money.
They only got caught because they hadn't burnt out their vehicle properly and the police managed to trace it back and find out who robbed the place. They can be inventive when they are desperate for money.

ATMS machines are very heavy which are difficult to take away and are built with iron sheet of very haevy gauge which make them very difficult to cut with normal tools. As access is open to other customers, there are chances to caught red handed. Addition security features like cameras etc. also act as deterrent to robbery.

Since the size of the machine is too small to make them believe enough money inside, than a bank locker.
More over AT M's are latest inventions,and our robbers are too old fashioned(Dint like to mesh up with modern thingee)...

every machine have a automatic alarm ..... no security is required because no life risk is there ....over all insurance is there...best wishes for programming atm robbery

Because it is more difficult in the sense that one cannot break into the vault. it needs high powered machinery. BY the time they are able to open it, the police will already be there.

Amount not worth the risk. Moreover, one is not sure how much cash is in. In banks always the amount is quite large.
