I was on the yahoo home page when I found an article from mtv.com about how some people aren't getting used to the fact that the wii controller is so frigin light weight and that their are actually loosing their grip in games like bowling where they bowl ads hard as they can and the controller gets out of their grip adn is breaking tv. Is it just me or are people just looking for something to complain about the wii?

This is only happening to a few retarded people that are mindlessly and wrecklessly swing the controller like maniacs.

Its prolly real dumb idiots who exaggerate when they play. I have a Wii and I never encounter that prob. For the most part u dont even need the strap. When playin bowling u dont need to go all out as if ur rolling an 8 pound ball cuz its not an 8 pound ball! If ne tvs were actually broken I find it hard to place the blame on the wii and not stupidity.

There are indeed those silly people, who probably will start wearing seatbelts from now on too.

But another complaint that's been floating around is that the wrist strap is breaking. The thin part, not the thick. If the Wiimote is loose when this happens, destruction may occur.

But, then again, it's not that hard to hold on to.

Don't worry your Wii isn't "broken" or anything ( Curses to the dude who dissed the Wii) try checking the back of your sensor bar, the wire might be disconnected or loose, so after connecting it your wii remote will be just fine, also make sure that nothing is blocking it

Well, I have a Wii and I've played the bowling and havent had a problem..Neither would they if they were intelligent enough to wear the wrist attatchment that comes with the controller and tighten it like you are supposed to..Even in the commercials the people playing have it tightend to their wrist..The dangly rope at the end isnt there to make it easier for your dog to carry it around the house..(which mine did)..

I saw that article! Its called Did You Break Your TV? And yea I think they are looking for something to complain about, and the fact that retards are letting go of it however I dont see any harm in in if you actually hold it properly.

I actually heard the same rumor. I have been thinking about getting some sleeves to make it more grippy (i think thats a word). Wouldnt be a bad idea

it actually happens. ive seen it, but not for me. getting a sleeve is a good way to lower the chances to a flying wiimote.
on the other hand, people love to critic stuff when they first come out
