Americans! What is the single most important issue in America you want the President to redo, undo, or fix?

Democrats and Republicans alike criticise the President for not getting the job done correctly. If you could make the President do anything: what one action would you have him perform that you see as vital to US security, americans happiness. Everyone complains but no one offers real answers. If you were President, what would you do??

I would have demanded a recount on the election of 2000, for every one period, I am sure that Bush would have lost, Florida was complaining that it would cost to much of tax payers money to redo it, How much is this war costing us now, and all the innocence people there loosing their homes and families, and the children loosing their mother and father, Remember Bush had a hard time finding Nations to back him up!! Yes the world trade center would probably still been attacked, but remember NOT ONE IRAQI was on those planes!!!!!!!!!

The most important issue in America that we the Americans want is the securing of our borders, ports and stop selling and out sourcing our jobs and infrastructures to foreign countries. Stop thinking about the problems of the world and start thinking about the problems of the Americans... America should always come first to any President or US government. Right now either party, Democrats or Republicans are doing it.

I would not concede personal accounts in the push for social security reform. Democrats are demanding that Bush give up private accounts for them to even discuss Social Security reform.
If I could make Bush do anything, I would make Bush press the new Congress very hard for reform, in part through the allowance of personal accounts. That way the Democrats could not just increase benefits again like they did in 1979(which by the way was proposed by Gore as recently as 2000)

besides the outsourcing of jobs and the War and pollution, I would balance the budget, People just fail to understand the damage that can cause to the economy, having a balanced budget ALSO will control a 1000 other types of corruption, that should always be a number one goal of any president.

And after reading some of these post, making sure social security goes back to the way it was before Bush. A Surgeon Friend of mine explained it to me this way, If the power goes out, all sorts of people from many walks of like have to work together for the good of all, he said just like his medical oath, to take care of anyone WHO NEEDS HELP, PEOPLE HAVE TO THINK OF THIS COUNTRY AS WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER, mmmmm, They want to privatize it, mmmmmm guess who runs it. I do not mind if they want to think of another type of system, to do a long public awareness media exposure, Lets take our time, its a HUGE step, lets make SURE its being done fair and for the good of the PEOPLE, not, a well the surplus I was left is gone, it wasn't any good anyways, my Friends will take your money and handle your investments for now on thing.
I am just not sure why people are so ANGRILY trying to take away the retirement money many many people will be depending on.This is money they put into it and have been expecting it thier whole life for retirement, I just dont think people could fathom how many retired people would be eating pet foor for survival if not for it, with the record inflation and everything, its tough enough and will be even tougher for the people in the future.


Also hate to say it but I think we OWE much much more than we are owed

President should be concerned about two things (1) Fiscal Deficit (2) Trade Deficit. America is fast loosing race with China.

American Troops should be brought back home for two reasons (1) They are getting killed.
(2) They are killing innocent people.

If I were president I would quit stressing what other people thought. I would secure the borders with military, adding a shoot to kill rule. I would make profiling legal. I would put thieves that do informertials and rob naive people in prison. I would put Kennedy on trial for murder. I would put the Clintons in jail for robbery and fraud. That's all I can think of right now.

I would get out of Iraq. No, it's not a simple answer but he (along with the rest of the administration) started a war that they had no idea how to get out of, i.e. no exit plan.
