Iraq under Saddam did have weapons of mass destruction, they used them on the Kurds.

According to one of the many resolutions made by the corrupt United nations (google "oil for food scandal") ALL of the WMD in Iraq were to be turned over the the UN inspectors. Were they?
No, about 500 chemical warheads (WMDs) have been found since the beginning of the war. Much of the chemical agent is still active, as Mustard gas can be deadly even after decades.

Ok, so your first assertion is false. So is the second, as President Bush never said we would be welcomed as Liberators. Dick Cheney did say something like that, but he is not the President.

I think the answer to your question can most easily be answered as that people voted for Bush because Kerry was such an incredibly bad choice. Does this help?

The fault of the American people is simply this: ignorance. You don't know how many lives Bush and his administration have SAVED simply before you know things. How many people out there have known a secret & you hear somebody say the wrong thing and you want to correct them terribly bad, but you can't because you have to keep the secret? This is what it is like for the Bush administration and the American government. We don't know what has truly happened in the war on terror. We have NO IDEA how many attacks have been prevented because of the pro-action approach vs. the sit back and hope we get lucky approach. Right now people are so busy criticizing rather than rallying as a people that our country is being torn apart. You don't help our soldiers sacrificing their lives for us by saying that what they are putting their LIVES on the line for is stupid. Open your eyes to the full picture, don't just see what the media WANTS you to see. They never show anything good, did you ever think about that? Do you think our world is THAT full of evil? If you do, then why live? We have to fight for the good in our country and we have to do it together. And I know people will have negative things to say about what I have just said, but all you're doing is helping the enemy by ripping us all apart further. Just remember that before you speak against Americans, and rather speak against non-Americans fighting against us! Life can be what you want it to, and if you let the evils of the world consume you, what good are you to the world anyway?

Apparently you haven't seen tv in the past three years. They DID welcome us, it's the insurgents that didn't. He didn't lie about WMD's because WE sold them to Saddam in the 80's to fight Iran. He made his case on bad intell from other countrys. That's been authenticated and hashed over years ago but for some reason you can't let that go. You need to MOVEON.ORG - HA HA!! Did you get that?

I believed in him and I agreed with the direction he was taking the country. Unlike you Lib's he's looking 5-10 years down the line and is trying to defend national security by reducing terror threats from the middle east. In case you haven't noticed, Pres. Ahmadinejad WANTS TO KILL US!! How much more plainly does that need to be said? He has said that is his intentions.

The Dem's and Lib's needed to let him do his job. Now I ask you, and be honest, were you really and truly threatened by the wire tapping? Did you really, really feel your life had been invaded, or was that just another way to pick him apart and make him look like a failure? Sometimes you just have to do what you need to do to get the job done. Tell me you've never bent the rules (Clinton?) to protect what's yours.

Kerry didn't impress me at all. Every time he was asked a question, his cookie cutter reply was "I have a plan that will...." or "Under my plan.....", but he NEVER said what those plans were. Tell me what you're going to do, how you're going to do it, and what the benefits are. He never did that. Seemed he had a plan for just about everything under the sun.

I'm a conservative Rep, but that doesn't mean I vote that way. I vote for whom I think will do the best job. I don't vote Dem, I don't vote Rep, I vote AMERICAN!!!

Funny thing is though, and this applies to Dem's and Rep's alike, you can tell me anything you like during your campaign, and none of it ever gets done. Nothing - ever!!! There's just way too much going on in the White House, domestic and foreign, to accomplish everything you say you will.

Besides being a couple of years late with your question, the premise of your question is incorrect. The rest of the world (i.e. the UN) believed that Saddam either had or was very close to having WMDs (the proof being that he used them on his own people). If that wasn't the case, why were there so many UN resolutions demanding inspections?

GW & CONGRESS made a choice based on all the best information available at the time. All the Monday morning quarterbacking in the world won't change my mind that it was the right thing to do.

The American people new the danger of voting for Gore. President Bush betrayed no one. Quit listening to idiots and think for yourself, if you can. You better thank the good Lord Bush was in office when 911 went down, otherwise we would be screwed. Wait about six months with the Dems controlling the houses, you will be getting quite a wake-up call. Bush was re-elected because he was the best choice. Hope you get unstuck from stupid, good luck.

its the choice of americans, they choose not because of what bush is doing outside the united states. they see what bush have done for them inside the states. its not the problem of ordinary americans whether iraq have weapons or not.
