Every culture is great n not so great. Just like the coin having 2 sides all cultures has its plus and minus side. Certain Indian cultures are grt like giving respect to the elders but some r very suffocating. So its' upto us to inculcate the good cultures and get rid of the bad ones.

B'coz:

1. Indians are very tolerant.
2. India never invaded any country so far unlike other countires in world.
3. In spite of several foreign invasions we are still independant for our needs.
4. Indians never tried to impose hinduism.
5. Different people with different culture, language and religion remains with peace and harmony.
6. We always step forward to help other nations whenever needed.
7. We have never put restrictions / stringent checks at airport for other citizens to enter our country like US after WTC incident.

8. Our army faught Indo-Pak war and the rest of the country did not even feel a situation of war. They remained untouched from a war like situation.

It only happens in India. I am proud to be an Indian. I luv my india, vatan mera india.

i wouldn't call it a GREAT culture.. but certainly an exotic and interesting culture..

i do however feel indian culture with its storys of human struggles has bread a very strong spirituality.. whereby many hindi's are known to perform amazing feats.. this i find fascinating and inspirational..

for a culture to be great however it in my eyes, needs to be more "positive" especially in environmental terms.. i feel india is heading down a slightly disappointing path at present wanting to embrace nuclear energy and other practices that will only burden an already burdened planet..

BECAUSE OF ITS HISTORY AND ALSO FOR ITS LAND FEATURES............
IT HAS DISTINCTIVE LAND FORMS THAT CONTRIBUTES TO ITS BEAUTY,,,,,,,,,,
HIMALAYAS(north side) contain snow , mountains, natural beauty
big example is kashmir.....himachal pradesh........
Northern plains....contributes to fertile land.........a unique culture
example Punjab
Western india privides Thar desert.......example rajasthan.....
Eastern india provides dense forests and vegetation........
whole india provides......number of culture.........
because every state of india has more than 100 cultures......
west southern india provides world's second largest film producing states with extereme modern and western culture
example........bombay
east southern india provides u fast develpoment of new technology...........ex......Bangalore
because india's central to southern part is in V shape so it looks beautiful and also this parts are surrounded by Bay of bengal, Arabian sea and Indian ocean
it has its island.........
its history is really really great.........

i totally disagree with the boy who said about nuclear energy......coz every country is developing..so india has ful right to develop itself........
what if world war 3 begins?? india is not like those countries who depend on other counrtry for defend........
so india will not take risk for ruining itself.......india will answer with weapons......
