If you have a very strict boss or teacher, would you still attend work/class when the weather is so bad that even the weatherman advises you to stay home?

Yes.

Even though the weatherman says its bad, your city probably did a good enough job cleaning up to warrant a trip to work/school.

Remember, when you don't go to work, others have to pick up the slack for you, and they had to drive in the same conditions you would have.

As for class, if the school is closed, don't go. If it is open, go. Easy as that.

No, I would always try to stay home on a snow day.
Too slippery to drive on the road. Plus, I would always watch for school closures.

Just because it is snowing doesn't mean that the day is canceled. You still have to go out and earn a living.
