I recall that early on 04, There was a project ginger that was suppose to be revealed by the year. This project was suppose to make us less dependant on other countries for fuel.
By the end of 04 we had an oil president. I don't know what ever happened to project ginger.
Anybody else recalls hearing about Project Ginger?

Without energy (fuel oil) no vehicle in USA shall ply the street. The reason why USA wants to control production of fuel in the middle east. Hence, the war in Iraq, etc.

No for sure the economy would fall flat, this is why Bush would not sign the anti pollution restrictions on American factory's and business.
