On a breakaway in the second quarter, human-highlight short film Nate Robinson attempted to perform a dunk-contest-style slam, bouncing the ball off the floor to himself. He was whistled for traveling. And, of course, he missed the dunk. Is that what you call an nba dunk champ?! Or even a player who thinks about the game instead of himself all the time?

Hahah, im pissed i dont get to watch knicks games living in Massachussetts cuz they are my fav team...but my buddie back home gets nba league pass, and he always leaves me a voicemail when the one man show nate robinson tries to do soemthing outrageous....i heard he didnt even get taken out of the game for that......but since the knicks arent going anywhre, i dont mind him pullin stunts like that.

Well...had he made it he would hve been on countless highlight reels ... and maybe secured a couple more endorsements...the NBA is all about entertainment so I guess its OK to show off once in a while...but seriously if you gonna do it make sure you dont miss...and learn the rules, it was an obvious travel

in this case, yes. in b-ball u have to make sure u get the basket especially in a breakaway. u never know if the other team is going to make a comeback.
