Wow pretty cool Bond that Daniel Craig. Surely better than that cheesy Brosnan chap. Good to see less bullshit and more grit

No. If I want more "grit", I'll watch the Bourne Identity / Supremacy. I expect a certain standard of uber-coolness from my James, and Daniel just looks like a bouncer in that tux, not a millionaire play-boy / superspy. He can't fight for toffee (it might be his first 007 mission, but he will have had bucket-loads of training).

If he's supposed to be the Service's best poker player, how could he fall for the oh-so-obvious fake tell? I spotted that one a mile off! And much as I love Dame Judi as M, if this is 007's first mission, how can she be M? She was specifically introduced as a replacement in Goldeneye! Whole lines of script centred around it!

Plus, Daniel is not gorgeously handsome. When he walked out the water, all I could think was "His head's too small, and his ears stick out".

Poor, poor, poor - even makes OHMSS look good...

Having just seen the film, I think Daniel Craig does make a good Bond. I think it won't be until the next film where he'll really settle in to the role though. I did, however, think the plot was a bit fractured and a little confusing. Who was the real 'bad guy'? Bond villains ought to be lusting for something like world domination, not a relatively 'measly' £100 million! The lack of Q and his gadgets was also disappointing, in my view. A good Bond film needs a fantastic car chase which was lacking in Casino Royale.

The opening title was amazing. Being a designer myself, I loved the mixture of animation and film while the credits were rolling. The 'chase' scene at the beginning was fantastic. Good film on the whole...

Awesome film!
All the criticism about casting a blonde Bond was a complete load of rubbish. Daniel Craig was brilliant

I liked Brosnan, but I couldn't stand that last movie, where a giant space laser was chasing him around the ice cap. That was pure cheese. So when this movie started off with Craig smashing a guy's head into a urinal in a dirty public bathroom, I knew we were off to a promising start.

Yes, I loved the movie....I like the new direction they are taking....this one was more believable and I liked how Bond used his muscles instead of fancy gadgets to get the bad guys (remember the invisible car in Die Another Day---PLEASE!!).....hopefully they continue with the next movie.....Daniel did a great job not to mention looking HOT in his swimsuit....meow!
