the labour pains are very strong and when u r ready to deliver the pains will very sharp cramps in the lower back something like period cramps but more painful. the pains will keep coming back after a certain time period (u'll have to time them) .the shorter the span of these cramps coming back the closer u r to delivering a baby. there r many other signs as well to know that u r going into labour. U'll loose the mucus plug in ur cervix and ur water sac will break. so, for sure u'll know when it is the time! all the best!

As for when you will deliver, if I could tell you that I wouldn't be here at work! (hehe) But really, about the labor beginning it could happen a number of ways: your water could break, you could begin spotting. But if your labor starts with contractions, just remember when it's the real thing, they will usually become regular (you can time them) and will usually get stronger as time passes. As for what they feel like, the best way I can describe them is they will start out like a very uncomfortable period cramp. The only difference is that is will start mild, gradually climb in intensity, peak, then gradually go back down in intensity. Of course, this is just based on my own personal experience and things can vary a bit from woman to woman..ie. my sister had back labor where she felt the contractions, only in her back instead of in her abdomen. Hope this helps and best of luck to you!

i exchange into no longer particularly frightened of hard work or BF yet I knew for a actuality i'd in no way consent to a episiotomy or induction and the only way there i'd have a c-area is that if I or the baby have been enormously plenty ineffective so i'd say i exchange into maximum worried a pair of c-area. I had a 9lb 13oz infant for sure and does no longer have fallen for the huge infant card and woudl no longer have allowed induction something below sixteen days over due. solid luck to you.

the pains start differently for everyone...some never feel it in the front, they only have lower back pains, but they come at regular intervals...some only have it in the front.
You will definitely know when true labor has begun though!!

Good luck!
