Some kind of withdrawl seems to be enevitable.

Pedo: as IF spelling discredits my opinion. Its out in the MSM that troop pullbacks are being discussed even now. Kind of reminds me of the Vietnam era debate about withdrawing troops then.
Its just a matter of time.

it's funny that they came to some decisions yesterday after all the talks in the middle east. i think they were like me and said "Whoa"!!
stubborn Bush is still saying no withdrawal. that idiot is going to get us killed. CNN said last night on Anderson Cooper that we would need over 400,000 troops to be victorious in Iraq. where are they going to come from? they said it too a major draft is the only way and that would take at least a year. so yes I think they are going to force Bush into a staged withdrawal and quite possibly his resignation when they get home if not before.

Enlighten me. What new concepts came from the Survey group? Phased troop withdrawals with no timetables. Sounds pretty much like business as usual to me. The fact is that we do have to get out of Iraq at some point, but we cannot just pick up our toys and go home. The Democrats understand this as well as the Republicans. That is why they keep voting in the majority to continue funding for military operations in the region. The majority of what is being said amounts to nothing more than political rhetoric designed purely for sensationalism purposes. Actions speak louder than words in all cases.
