Half a hole IS a hole :-))

wow all the above answers are correct, in a sense, if you had to dig a 10 foot hole, 5 foot would be half, if it took a man a day (24 )hours to build a 10 foot hole, it would take hime 12 for half of that 10 foot hole,,,,
at same time, a hole is a hole, not a half,,,,,

2 days each man digs 1/5 of a hole each day, which equals 25%, so 2 days equals 50% you can dig half a hole if.... the size of the hole has specific specifications.
