No one know whether the Universe is a closed system or not, we are too small, the universe is too large for us.

The question is not "how do we know". The question is "how COULD we know".
Despite the extensive "guessing" of Earth's scientists and "genius"level inteligent persons, Earth is still a grain of Sand in the known universe. To even consider defining the "borders" of the universe is arrogance.
So as an answer to your question i say: We dont know, and in all probability we will never know.

SOMEWHERE IT MUST BE CLOSED. I CAN'T IMAGINE IT GOING ON FOREVER, BEING OPEN. IT'S BEYOND OUR IMAGINATION.
THIS IS SOMETHING THAT EXPERTS SPECULATE ON. NO ONE IS 100% SURE. IT'S ONE OF OUR MYSTERIES. MAYBE AFTER WE DIE WE WILL FIND OUT.
