No one can touch Putin. He controls the EU gas supply, and th US needs him if it wants to halt Iran and north Korea's atomic weapons program. He should be stopped, but he is beyond the power of the west.

Putin controls the gas supply for Western Europe and can turn it off at a whim. Better play softly softly.
In any event, we do not know if the KGB had a hand in the death of one of their former agents. Who incidentally might still have been working for the KGB for all we know.
The most likely culprits are the Russian Mafia who want to do harm to UK/Russian relations which are at a low ebb but need to be improved.
Visit MI6 website and see what they're up to. You'll need to entry code, which today is GBXZ590
GOOD LUCK
PLEASE NOTE - that Putin is a former head of the KGB.

It is really nice and easy for us to be able to put the blame squarely on Putin. It takes me back to the "Reds Under the Beds" days of the late 50's early 60's.
Frankly I am amazed no one has accused the Iranians or Bin Laden for it.
Maybe they are quietly laughing up there sleeves after pulling off the PR stunt of the century!!!!
We don't have any concrete facts to go on, except that poor man died an appalling death, so let's not sling accusations around just yet. Fun as it may be!

Oh yes. A war with a nuclear power. With an enormous army. In the largest and one of the most inhospitable countries in the world. Sign me up!
There's not a thing we can do - if Putin wants to bump off people then the ONLY thing we can do is give him a slap on the wrist.

Well, if it is really Putin who ordered all this crime then he is a big fool. He would have been much more popular if had taken up acting in Hollywood action films.

The russians are most certainly guilty.
Britain was already aware that russia has dark mafiosa corruption at the highest level.
but international protocol, especially since russia was unwisely allowed to join g8 means that we have to pretend they are civilised.
Putin is a gangster, he is worse than the crazed former soviet leaders because he is unprincipled.
Unfortunately ,the west needs gas and oil and trade with countries like russia awash with money.
Britain will find of course that there is lack of evidence and it will become old news.
However, the damage done to russia is irrepairable, most western european countries will now view it with suspicion and hold back from long term in depth commitments where possible.

Vladamir Putin is ex-KGB and it really is exhibiting massive time. i imagine that he needs to fix the former Soviet Union and it truly is his first step. If we stand through and enable this, they're going to suck up all of Europe at the same time as France and Germany stall and hem and haw nerve-racking about what might want to they do. Alot of this has to do with Georgia wanting to affix NATO which the Russians do not choose (hmmmm first clue something might want to correctly be rotten there) because they're re-arming and do not choose us to carry close. I grew up in the course of the chilly conflict and that isn't any longer very fairly nerve-racking about nukes. yet, on the different hand, the Russians are smart sufficient no longer to favor to explode the total international with nuclear guns so that is truly a pissing contest that has the prospect of turning violent at any time. So, certain, it really is a nasty project that we would want to worry about and make constructive we %. a president who's conscious this and has journey sufficient to address it. with somewhat of success, Senator McCain will, at the same time as elected, save Condi Rice as Secretary of State. it truly is the position she has her best distinctiveness.

This is a very delicate subject and there is no concrete
proof that Putin has anything to do with it. I think it best
to leave the investigation to continue without interference,
which could put either or both sides on guard.

russia didn't do this, the CIA did. the US wants to discredit Putin.
Putin has been in power for 7 years.... you have to start thinking... why would he only start behaving like this in the last few months? if he really was this type of person, then he would have shown it a hell-of-alot earlier. i would also like to point out, that with all his resources... don't you think he would have been a little LESS obvious about it?
also if you look at the record of lies and deceipt of the current govt in the UK as well as the US... you may just about realise that this is another one of their scams.
question is, why? there are alot of scarey answers to that.
