Their performance has been on a visible "up" in the last races of the season, Sato even getting to mix it out with the Red Bulls in Japan and Brazil. I think that they will leave Spyker as the tail-enders; lower midfield positions, for sure. Not very serious midfield contenders, but they do have chances to pick up to 4-5 points next year. High-attrition races will surely yield them points if they know how to stay out of trouble.

I'm sure the Super Aguri team will be much better in 2007, but I don't expect them to move more than a couple of places up the grid, even with a year-old Honda chassis..
It took a herculean effort to make it to Melbourne last March and they will be better prepared for the new season. Still, I don't think the infrastructure is in place yet to advance to serious midfiend-contender status.
Now that the `third car' is no longer allowed on the Friday of race weekends, it's interesting that Super Aguri team managing director Daniele Audetto, has suggested one car from each team should be reserved for test drivers for that session and he seems to have support for the idea from Bernie and Max. However, for that to happen, I believe it needs uanimous approval from all the teams.

Now that they have acquired Anthony Davidson and improved markedly over the course of their first season they might very well move to the middle of the pack. As Honda's Friday driver Davidson was often astoundingly quick. He also has lots of miles under his belt as a test driver.

Maybe in a few races, otherwise, well, somebody has to finish last. They will battle Spyker all season long for this honor.
