2. Africa is not connected to Europe. Africa is connected to Asia at Suez in the Sinai desert
3. Tornados are concentrated wind funnels that appear only over continental land masses. In 2005 however, the United States was hit with four magor hurricanes ( a maritime caused massive low pressure event which spawns a giant, circling storm. They are also known as typhoons in eastern Asia or Cyclones in the South Pacific)

The most destructive of these was the Category Three Katrina in Louisiana on August 29 (It had hit Florida two days earlier but only as a Tropical Storm) but also included:

Dennis (Category Four hitting Florida panhandle in late July)

Rita (Category Five hitting Texas/ Louisiana in late September)

and Wilma (Category Three hitting southern Florida in October)

I think you mean hurricane, because I'm pretty sure they don't name tornados. If it is a hurricane, the answer is Hurricane Katrina
