It is professional.

I s avery fast paced sport I played it back in 91 in denamrk and then 11 years after I thought I could get back in it in uruguay while I was there for 3 months visiting I was about 10 seconds away from a freaking stroke, unlike basketball or football in handball you defend fast and attack faster now if you want to counter attack which usually means trying to steal the ball in mid air in a pass or in mid air or in a bounce from an attacking player believe you can't take it easy and sand bag the game. The only time the game slows down its during the penalty shots that its pretty much like soccer its the player wits against the goal keeper wits.

Then you just go back to quick action

Handball is a widely known sport, that is not professional and is usually only used in a fun way. (as a game.) It is a game when it is team vs team and you have to try to pass the ball to your teammates. Keep passing and running to the side of your goal and throw it into the goal. (whatever you make it.) This is how you play handball.

Handball is when you make hand-to-ball contact with another individual. It is commonly played alone, the lone handballer approaches unsuspecting targets and attempts to make contact. Points are awarded as follows.
1 pt. Distorted facial expressions
2 pt. Verbal Lashings
3 pt. Physcial punishment by victim
4 pt. Mistaking a female for a male
5 pt. Compliments (I.E. Strong hands big man!)

Handball is the sizznit. it is similair to hockey and also basketball. you have a smal ball, smaller than a basketball but bigger than a baseball, and you dribble it up and down the court. there are two hockey sytle goals that you throw the ball into. it is also similair to lacrosse also. There is a ring outside of each goal and you cannot enter this ring if you are on offense.

There are different versions of handball. The one commonly described is usually played by teams of 3 or more. But the other version is similar to raquetball.......minus the raquet.

To my understanding its like you have a ball that you hit against a wall then the ball bounces back and you hit it with your hand then the other guy you are playing with has to hit it and it hits the wall and bounces back then it is your turn to hit the ball and it keeps going up until someone misses the ball or it bounces twice. You could do it in teams of 2 or a 1vs1 game. I think you go up to 15 points and you have to win by two.

similar to football but on a smaller court...it's played inside...6 players+goalkeeper...with two goals...but you must shoot outside the six meter line...noone can get inside this line except the goalkeeper...the ball is smaller than in football...it's is played 2x 30 minutes...the team that scores more goals wins...
and it is a professional sport in most of the countries in europe!
