vince carter isnt fitting into nets plans it seems like we need a better defensive player than carter his good in scorer but thats not what the nets need they need a defensive player... Atlanta has be showing interest in vince carter lately and i think his a good fit for atlanta as much as josh smith will be to the nets he'll give the nets a huge boost in boards and blocks while kidd, RJ gets the points and will give the nets enough cap space to make a shot at Kenyon Martin who wants to return to New Jersey before the trading deadline...

Whats do you guys think?

It depends if the Atlanta franchise wants to win at all in the future. Carter is a good attraction, but he can't win by himself. Only way Atlanta signs him is if they want to clear cap space and rebuild from scratch...which i thought they were doing now.

I don't really think Josh Smith is the right solution to New Jersey's problem. No specific reason just a feeling. The best trades they could make right now is to Chicago for Tyrus Thomas and Ben Gordon or to the Clippers for Corey Maggette and Cuttino Mobley. These players would give them the three point shooting and speed around the perimeter that they lack. Tyrus Thomas would also give them an athletic shotblocker with a great future.

There is only 2 rounds in the draft....isnt carter a FA after this years draft anyway? A high risk for ATL if he bolts after almost a half season of play.

What up Matt H, For despite reason the Magic have been fairly insistent on preserving JJ. The final 2 years JJ has been soliciting for a commerce because of the fact he replaced into dropping way on the Magic bench- however the Magic have refused to commerce him for some reason. component of the reason it replaced into stated that he wasn't getting playing time replaced into that Stan Van Gundy replaced into no longer happy with Reddick's protection. because of the lack of ability of exposure i do no longer understand which you would be waiting to get a accepted around %. for Reddick, regardless of the undeniable fact that it would be nicely worth procuring around in case you will desire to get what you like. i think of Orlando honestly nicely shop Reddick and he can also have a shot to compete for the commencing activity on the three. With Hedo Turkgolu asserting that he will decide out for loose organization it is available that Reddick takes the three, Rashard is going to the 4, and the Magic attempt to get carry of a real 4 and that could then make Reddick like a 6th guy for the Magic (form of like a Jason Kapono variety participant) who can fill interior the gaps at the two and 3 positions. Damion James is going returned to college yet i think of Taj Gibson could be an excellent %.-up... i'm honestly hoping the Lakers would desire to %. him up. Nickster
