No. If everyone stops being at war, & starts negotiating, we can reach peace.

Also, confrontation is not war. You can confront someone with a problem, & then you can work on fixing it. That, for me, is peace enough.

There are circumstances that require force. Such as the invasion of Germany during the second world war. Hitler wanted to occupy the world and rule as a god - now that was a madman that needed to be removed by force. All available neighbors of Germany in Europe together with America fought a heroic war and liberated the world from real terrorism.

I come from Malawi, an African country. It was colonized by the British and was called Nyansaland. We gained independence in 1964, without a war or battle. The Malawi leaders simply sat down with the British leaders and discussed the problem

We cannot get peace without the preparing for war is how I have heard it... but I think that no matter what we do to keep peace, there will always be one person or country to stand up against us, which leads us to war.

Unfortunately, no. The people that we end up at war with tend to be the type who think their domineering, abusive ways are the way to be powerful. Gone are the days when world leaders can sit down and make peace. Only reasonable people can do that, and the countries we are having problems with have leaders who are unreasonable.

Where is peace? The only way to peace without confrontation is to be isolated so none can reach you.You will still have to have police and prisons because peace is not real.
