Best cheap weekend break to Mexico?

I'm spending some time in Houston in May next year and I want to take a quick weekend break to Mexico while I'm there - which Mexican destinations are served by the cheap airlines, and which are worth going to? Beaches are a plus.

Yucatan
wich are beaches

umm well you can go to Guanajuato city, Gto
i love that city it has a lot of achitecture and its full of tunels, made old fashion it has a lot of history and all
also Zacatecas city though its beautiful i dont know if you would like love to go there if you are looking for adventures, no.
