Yes...if you feel like putting it up today then put it up. There are no set right or wrong time to put it up. I have had mine up for a couple of weeks. Christmas comes only once a year and is gone in a flash so why not enjoy every moment that you can. It is after Thanksgiving so the next holiday is Christmas so I say put it up now if you want. Good luck and Happy Holidays!

Every day can be a christmas for an individual. Put it up, the love of Christmas is not a sin. It indicates that you can never forget celebrating the birth of our Savior. Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!

that is as a lot as you. For us: we beautify the exterior of the abode (lights fixtures etc) in the first couple of weeks of December. the interior and the tree wait until eventually 7 to ten days earlier Christmas. all of it comes down through the sixth January. traditionally Christmas is widely known for 12 days from Christmas Eve. those days there's a huge style of celebrating earlier then so decorations ensue earlier, too. despite the indisputable fact that, i imagine if you're too early then it would want to change into dull through the time you get to Christmas.

Put it up when you like. Having read that someone thinks Christmas does not start until Christmas eve (never heard of Advent), (where do these people come from?!!) I think that it is totally your decision and I wish you a very happy Christmas whatever you decide.

NO!
It will give you bad luck! You really should wait until the 1st December - I'd wait until you get back and put it up on Sunday.
My parents refuse to get the Christmas tree until the week before christmas, so I will have to wait a while! I think you should do it when you are not in a rush so you can savour the moment and make it perfect, and not just throw a bit of tinsel on quickly!
Happy Christmas!

We always put ours up mid-way through December because otherwise it's just not special anymore. You still get a good 3-4 weeks of christmas decs in! :-) But, if you want to put it up, put it up!!

There are no rules or laws with this so do it. I'm putting mine up on Sunday. Christmas is only once a year and is over so quickly so make the most of it. I'm sure you'll get lots of 'bah humbug' answers!!

Yes why not. I usually put mine up xmas eve and it comes down boxing day. It's only there for father xmas to leave the presents under but I'm feeling bit fed up lately so I might put mine up early to see if it makes me feel a bit brighter.
