It sounds fitting. None of this chaos would be happening if we had not attacked, invaded and occupied this weakly defended country. I am still not clear why this had to happen,

Meow: and you are comparing Bush to Lincoln ?
At least Lincoln did not have to steal his first election and was not helped by fraud in his second.
I find the comparason offensive. You might compare Bush to Harding.

Tos Dawg: Iraq was no threat to us. In fact Bush Sr. kept him in power to stabilize the regions. The Dim Son has handily tripped this country into civil war with his brilliant invasion.

79 Vette: Yeah, I guess Iraq was pretty formidable at one time against other second world regional powers equipped with cast off Soviet weaponry.
They were no danger to us however.

Yousef: I still hold Bush accountable. Even if he is a figurehead, his actions need to be addressed.
As for being a clueless, un informed, unaccountable and irresponsible nice man, its easier to find him contemptable than an object of sympathy. Too many deaths. Too much needless destruction.

Roch Cop: WAS, HAD...what was their military strength when we invaded? Are we to be afraid of a second world military power armed with old Soviet Era Cold war relics ? They had nothing when we attacked them that could stand up to us.

I think he will be remembered overall as the least popular President in the history of the United States, His legacy will also be one of causing Islamic extremism and hatred of the US to drastically increase, while at the same time destabilizing the middle east. He will also be remembered for helping to turn a budget surplus into a record deficit, encouraging industry to send jobs oversees, etc. History will not remember this man kindly.

Given the actual undeniable actuality that George W. Your weakly defended country, invaded Kawait and put every oil well on fire for an enviornmental nightmare. Killed 300,000 kurds in the north and another 300,090 to 500,000 Sunis's in dungeons and death. Violted 17 UN resolutions, stole billions in the UN scandel "oil for food" and tried to assisinate a President GW Bush Sr. Stop drinking the Kool aide and remember its the Iranians and Syrians backed insurgents who are doing all the killng. do you think for one minute that Iran and Syria want a democracy next door so that there people wil eventually demand the same.! The real irony is that to solve the situation quickly and it's not necessarily the ideal solution, would be to reinstate Sadam Hussein to reunite the country - our governments have egg on their collective faces and they should be brave enought to stand up and admit it !

Never mind the fact that no real weapons of mass destruction were found in the first place !

No, I seriously doubt it. Weakly defended country, you need to take the glue bag off your head. IRAQ HAD THE LARGEST STANDING ARMY IN THE MIDDLE EAST. Did you just wake up from a 10 year nap?

As long as the law of Islam governs countries, chaos will always exist. Look around you and see what is happening in the Islamic world, look around you and see the killings of innocent non-Muslims simply because they happen not to be of the Islamic faith. Look around you and see the killings amongst Muslims themselves (Shiites and Sunnis).

No, The problem with the American foreign policy makers, they think they know how to solve the world problems by force, Mr. Bush only a tool in the hand of the policy makers, I really feel sorry for him, after all he could be a nice guy.

The Americans are isolated from the rest of the world and they think that, they know it all.
