There are a few Golden Tulip hotels an Amsterdam, the one l was in back in July was just a couple of minutes was just a couple of minutes from the Grasshopper and about 5 minutes from Dam Square, the hotel was really nice, clean and the beds are so comfy, the hotel is just off Damrak.I'm jealous if your going there!l've been twice now and can't wait to go back.

Oh also it is situated in a small square surrounded by cafes and coffee shops, all of which are decent places to eat and reasonably priced, around 12euros for eve meal.

P.S.Don't have breakfast in hotel,it costs a fortune about 17euros
They don't allow you into your room till 3pm but we arrived at 11ish,they upgraded our room and let us leave our luggage.

Golden Tulip is a chain of hotels. There are many in Amsterdam but they have different names, they are not called Golden Tulip but " name of hotel/Golden Tulip".
