could not control SA from 6 wicket down for 76; finally SA made 275.
Any 18yrs child can do better job.
He made 63 in 103 balls and it is equvalent of 184 in 50 overs. This means he played for his retaintion in the team but not for win of INDIA.
HE SCORED +50 for 63 but SCORED (NEGETIVE) -100 for playing TEST Match in ODI.
The net score of dravid is (negative)-50. This means he can play TEST but he shall be removed from ODI side of INDIA.
Shri DHONI be made CAPTAIN- Why?
He scored 55 in 48 balls, this is equivalent to 344 runs in 50 overs. Therefore he played for win of INDIA. HE GOT 50 FOR SCORING 55, and 100 FOR PLAYING FOR WIN OF INDIA and not mere for his retaintion in the team.
THEREFORE DHONI WITH 150 MARKS OUT OF 100 WILL THE CAPTAIN IN THE NEXT ODI
Shri DRAVID WITH (-)50 SCORE SHALL BE DROPPED FROM ODI AND RESERVED FOR TEST ONLY.

pay proportion to performance
if team win alright, if not remove 2 bat'mn, 2 blrs, 1 all rounder, keeper (if did badly).
if could not win series;
remove captain, coach, selectors, BCCI,
Make a fresh selection of the team.

Considering the form of Ganguly in the recent past, I doubt whether Ganguly will be able to change the fortunes of Indian team by putting up better performance. Actually it is a challenge to Laxman nd Ganguly's carreer. Whoever performs better will get a change in the Indian Team for the future matches.

Do we have a choice.Almost all the youngsters have wasted their chances.It is a foregone conclusion that Dada will come back on cricketting norms since he was removed for non cricketting norms.A mistake is corrected.Let us prey Dada will not let us down.It is a bold step by Dilip Vengsarkar and his teamand yet another chance for Greg Chappel to experiment for world cup.

it was two months ago when i said that ganguly should be history only and now also....................
i agree that ganguly should be IN the team in place of sehwag or tendulkar cuz theyboth are in very bad form!!
it will make a big difference as the indian batting order had two very talented batsman and experienced also(tendulkar and sehwag)but currently both are out of form......!!
presence of ganguly in the team will make the indian batting more secure and self-reliant too!!!!

it will reinforce the self confidence so that the morale of the players will get boosted as they need not worry about their place in the team on matters relating other than cricket
