If he likes 'his drink', get him an ingraved shot glass, martini shaker, or flask. If he likes to smoke, get him an engraved lighter. But the best thing is an engraved picture frame with a picture of you and him together- it can be from when you were a kid or a baby, or from a recent time that you both enjoyed eachother's company.

How about a really soft bathrobe and a pair of those memory-foam slippers? Those slippers are sooo comfortable, and they slide on easily. You can get both of these items at Wal-Mart or any department store.

Whatever you get him, he'll be touched at the thought. Merry Christmas!

Get him a gift certificate from whatever he likes best to eat or wear.
Thats better than some tacky junk.

throw a way cameras, a picture of you two together, a gift certificate, a gift card, photo album with photos of past Christmases, spending time with him listening to stories, making a collection of stories about his life, talking about your family history and looking up interesting facts
