Were you able to explain it so that other's believed it was honestly a mistake?

Wow, Emery. It actually was. That's exactly what I was listening to as I wrote the question. Good call :)

OMG, this sends shivers down my spine just thinking about it...

I was on a train recently and walking through it to get to the buffet car, it lurched slightly and my hands shot out automatically to grab onto something (they have little metal ball type things welded on the tops of all the seats to grab onto for specifically this reason)..

but the trian moved again as I was trying to stead myself, I lurched with the train, I missed the metal ball thing, and my superhuge hand grabbed the old lady who was sitting on the chair with the metal ball behind her shoulder.

Seriously, I grabbed her entire face, I had her old pliant face cupped perfectly by my hand...

I almost died of embarrassment, she almost had a heart attack...I then apologised a million times and RAN AWAY to where I was sitting (after washing my hands)...

I can still feel her whiskers, it may haunt me forever...

Like Emery, I thought the guy was in love with me. What a sap I was. I thought that wide screen plasma TV I was carrying out of the mall had been paid for. A simple honest mistake like that and security has a hissy fit. Go figure.

I don't make mistakes.

Haha, actually in all seriousness I've made so many mistakes that I can't possibly single one out and label it "the most honest". I thought mistakes, by definition, are honest.

Is that one inpired by The Bravery?

If not look up their Honest Mistake song, it's great.

Most honest mistake I made was thinking that guy was in love with me... I have yet to explain it... but it obviously was a mistake.
