This was in reference to the fact that no matter how famous, rich etc he was, at the end of the day he would still experience racism purely because of the color of his skin.

Thoughts?

Well, he wasn't thinking of Michael Jackson then, born a little black poor boy and grown up to be a rich white woman.

Tupac knew streets, and knowing the streets, means that you know life, the beautiful and the ugly side..We never asked to be born, and never know the time when we gonna leave this world.. Money can buy lotta things, but it cant replace human emotions.. Good ones like love, true friendship, but also those who are bad, like racism, envy,pain..You can have billions on your account, its not bout the money, its bout that at the end of the day if someone gonna call u N****, they gonna call you, and there's nothin you can do bout it..Freedom of expression versus the freedom of existence..you be the judge which one has the higher value..

Doesn't really matter does it?

In India a baby elephant is tied by one leg to a tree so it cannot escape. As it gets older the chain is reduced in size as well as the size of tree used is smaller. Eventually when the elephant is an adult it can be tethered to a small bush(that it could easily pull up) by a flimsy rope(that it could break) and it will not escape.
If you argue your limitations long enough, you make them your true shackles.

For sure,

Kanye says it too, "Even if you're in a Benz, you're still a *****"

Case @ pt, I grew up very very well to do in an all white suburb, considered very attractive, hell, I'm not even black Americans, parents are Black immigrants, so I retain that culture, language...but I'm still black and discriminated against all the time. I used to not understand it because here I am seemingly like every other blonde girl at my school...but it's very true...

Ppl try to pigeonhole you...both blks and whites, not accepted by either...I feel like a mixed child in that sense!

...ex from last night, I got hit on a lot by all kinds of dudes, but some of the drunk wht guys tried to "holla" at me with ebonics...and I'm thinking WTF? I probably grew up better than you! That's a very minute case, but a case nonetheless...

I'm not saying life is bad, but I'm definitely not treated the same

or perhaps he literally means he cannot wash off the colour of his skin, yno he cant be white so he has to accept the consequences of his colour. howeever rich he gets he'll remember he is black, and be proud to have risen so high, but remember his humble origins.

Both are incorrect.

Then if he did manage to have most or all of the money in the world,.. trust me his Skin would be meaningless... he might have to hide from the sight of people,.. that's what happens in those circumstances... you are not to be seen by normal people,.. your subjects.

It's true that white supremisys with no self-respect put stuff in the minds
