Because you always phone in sick on a Friday or Monday after a heavy night!
I call in sick less than once a year and ony when geuinly too ill to work - thus I have never been doubted yet!

Show up to work and poo your pants after being there 15 minutes. Then they will.
Nah the problem is if you don't think you sound sick but really are you put on a fake voice that is probably really obvious.
Ans most bosses are c__ts!

I was once accused of "faking" when I was at work and had to go home ill on a Saturday. All my co-workers thought I was skiving as it was the middle of summer, Saturday, etc.etc.
Turns out I had glandular fever and was off work for 3 months. After that they tended to be a little more sympathetic!

I know! I usually go to work even when i'm on deaths door! i have to feel really bad not to go in, but i still feel terrible like nobody ever believes i'm sick.

People make up lame excuses to not come into work. If I am not coming in I just tell my boss just that. There is no if's and or but's about that.
