Kindly. He served two terms, balanced the budget, kept us out of another Vietnam (Iraq), didn't do any less than Bush did to prevent 9/11. He was far from the first man to occupy the White House who dropped his Presidential boxers. Kennedy did the same thing, didn't have to lie because he didn't get caught. Clinton denied the sex thing for the sake of his daughter and he paid a high price for disappointing his family. After we're done with 8 years of George Bush, Clinton is going to look like another Abe Lincoln. Bush's picture should be next to the definition of moron in the dictionary.

That really all depends on how we will view the truth. Bill Clinton set a precedence when he lied under oath about Monica Lewinski. He said that he did not have sex with that woman, but if oral sex isn't sex, why is it called oral sex? Plus, he was the president of the United States, and traditionally they are held to a higher standard than the rest of us because they are there to represent the whole country. Where the president is, the country is. He got away with perjuring himself, and cheated the country out of an ideal that had pretty much stood the test of time till he came to office. Plus, he probably is the cause of 9/11 because he had the chance to do something about it, but didn't, then helped with all the lies that since it happened when Bush was in office it was his fault. Things like the incident on 9/11 take years of planning. Bush wasn't in office during those years....Clinton was.

So history? I hope it sees him as a very poor president who didn't do what was needed to keep America safe....but like I said. It all depends one what we do to the truth.....NOW.

Well, I know that I will be telling my children that he was a president that thought he could get away with something and lied to the American people about. I see Clinton as someone who needed to be impeached so that America could see that it is wrong to commit adultry and that there are consiquences to EVERYTHING that you do. I hope history books will not put him on a pedistal and will be able to tell our children what he did and not try to hide it from them
