Why do Middle Eastern men belittle their women?

The answer is not so simple. For ages men were leading the family pack everywhere in hostile environment coupled with age old traditonal role playing roles/ laws that kept women in the background. With men haeding the society & women denied education & the Great Western Countries ensuring dictatorships or family rule on the area, men's ego took a big boost & ended up belittling their women.

No. That's a generalization. In some countries where the goverment and lack of general education allows it, men belittle their women. But generally speaking, middle eastern men love and respect their women the way any other man would and should.

most of the middle eastern population is muslim and for yr kind information muslim women are not supposed to be the servant of men .Its men's duty to earn for the living even woman is not supposed to do the house hold cores ,its also man's duty to keep a servant for domestic help. muslim women have more independence than any other woman in the world.The main duty of muslim woman is to give proper upbringing of her children .most people think to be covered under veil n scarf is not fair for woman but its is very much necessary to keep the society clean from evils of rape ,molestation ,sexual abuse etc
