When Children are involved and the marriage wasn't that terrible then there will always be some kind of feelings. But there is a reason why they aren't together and you have to remember that.
Most couples get along better when they are no longer a couple, I know my ex-husband and I do.

Yes, My wife and I are seperated and we get along better now than we did during our 13 year marriage.

I get on really great with my ex-wife, and not just because of the kids. We both know that there are no feelings that way and we are just friends. She complains to me about her boyfriend and vice versa if you know what I mean.

What's to get along better? You are now separated from your spouse. Each now has his/her own life to work on independent of the other. There is no more love and no bond. It's just totally over.

my husband and i divorced when i found out i was pregnant we are still good friend i have no love for him now but he is still a friend we even manage to take our son out on day trips together and even took him to euro disney together but there is no way we would get back together so yes it is possible to be friends after a divorce
