'Tautology' is the word, though I shrink away when I hear a reporter state 'At 9am on the morning of....' when 'am' mean 'the morning / time before noon.'

Or, 'At this moment in time' - when a 'moment' is 'a portion of time,' and thus is a tautology and or where one word is at least redundant.'

There are other instances, but........

Sash.
