Do you think the way you feel about your body has developed from your own self image,or has it been installed in your mind by the experiences you have/do encounter from others. ie you have been told at some stage you ought to diet/exercise or blatently that your fat/ugly etc. or do people tell you you are beautiful/have beautiful eyes a stunning body ?

i don't think that i have a "body image problem" but there are things i would change about myself. i'm not fat but i sometimes wish i were proportioned differently. i wish i were taller and had larger breasts. but overall i am happy with my looks. i don't think other people's opinions of me have affected my outlook on myself. in general i think most people find me more attractive than i find myself. nobody has ever said i was fat or ugly. people often say i'm pretty but i sometimes doubt their sincerity.

I thought by losing weight all my body image issues would be gone, but, some of them are still there!I used to work at a bakery where i put on 10kg during my time working there(2years)and i worked for a Cambodian family and they made fun off my weight all the time(I wasn't even that big!)
I've always been told I'm beautiful. It's taken me a while to accept that!but I'm more at peace with myself now.i love my eyes and my Angelina Jolie lips and i love my hips and my butt hehe but it took a long time to feel that way!I have a daughter and i want her to have a positive body/self image and she's not going to get that if her mummy is so worried about herself all the time

it is a mixture of both because when someone tells you something like you are fat and you dont really know them either they are insecure and want others to feel insecure or you really are.. you have to decide how you think you look if you like the way you look dont let it bother you.. once you let things get to you and you try to do something about it you could harm yourself by exercising too much or by just bringing yourself down all the time.. know one should let others bring you downa dn if you know you have a problems seek medical help for the right way to do stuff

but i like the way i look i dont have a problem with myself

I'm very unhappy with my height.. I'm 5'7" and most of my friends are over 6'.. if I could change one thing about myself, I would want to be at least 6' tall.. I've even considered leg lengthening surgery..

wanted to hold it to but we live in different countries.
so i am satisfied with my body.
what i see and do affects how i look.
