yes!!! the effects from "weed" are far less than the effects of alcohol, if it was legal it would free alot of space in our prisons, where they are placed for a non-violent crime, and i believe it would cause alot less people to use harder drugs! and people who need it for medical reasons wouldn't have to go thru all the garbage they need to now for relief!!!

I think it should be legailised in certain areas for example your house. Due to the effects of passive smoking I do not think it should be legalised in public areas. There are two very large problems with marajuana today. The first is the crime associated with the illegal drug trade, the second is the potency of the weed in question. These things could be controlled through legalisation. Many people use it in a social capacity and it does not have too big an impact on them. Some people fall into a pit, it is the same situation with alcohol, and for that matter gambling. It should be up to the individual to control themselves and make their own decision. And it could be taxed.

Yes. It would generate more revenue tax wise than alcohol. In the same stride, we should ban alcohol since it causes so much misery and death.
