How does a rainbow stay in one place?

It doesn't - that's why you'll never find the pot of gold at the end!

Because it's made by light reflecting off rain or water droplets, there is no way it could remain stationary as you move around. Everyone will see the light dancing off a different set of droplets.

It does not, it will be in a different place to everyone that sees it and Will move as you move.
