let 5^x=t
the equation is
t^2-26t+25=0
(t-25)(t-1)=0
t=25 that is 5^x=25
5^x=5^2 x=2
t=1 5^x=1
5^x=5^0 or x=0
so the solutions are x=0 or 2

assuming that it is 5^(2x) -265^x +25 = 0, I get about 0.62355. but I just plotted it and looked where it crossed zero.
