i am now 20 weeks and its my first my doctor gave me folic acid tablets the bottle had 3 months worth of tablets in it iv finished the bottle now is that all i take or do i take them all the way through.

you can keep taking folic throughout your whole pregnancy and even after wards. It is safe and helps your baby develop mentally. When taken with vitamin-b complex, it should help you think clearer and even feel less fatigued. I take it and I'm not pregnant right now.

Folic acid is one of the vitamins of B group.It is one of the requirements of DNA synthesis which must go on for cell division which is crucial for production of cells that build the body as bricks are required for a building. Continue taking it.You will find plenty of folic acid in leafy vegetables.

all the way through is good, but folic acid is critical in the early weeks...you probably don't need a supplement now, but drink O.J. (with added calcium & vitamin D). Tropicana makes a low-acid version that is easier on your tummy, too!

absolutely! u are supposed to even take them while breastfeeding or even before u get pregnant if ure trying to have a baby. if you have prenatal vitamins those have folic acid and everything else ure baby needs for the entire pregnancy, check into those. but dont stop taking ure folic acid! it helps prevent birth defects!

It's best to take them all the way through along with pre-natal vitamins or a multivitamin.
