Is there any novel about someone with that name growing up inbetween western and oriental culture? Or could it have anything to do with bahai religion?

I know something about Bahai and "Bobby" is not a familiar word in that faith. Maybe the two kids just like the name. it is easy to say and certainly a friendly name - no serial killers named Bobby as far as I know.

They may consider themselves followers of the Bab (pronounced Bob), who was the Messenger of God who came before Baha'u'llah. A Bab'i is a follower of the Bab, just as a Baha'i is a follower of Baha'u'llah. Most Bab'is became Baha'is, but I have heard there are still a few left
